I know we lived in different suburbs but still... :-) Of course at that time behind our neighborhood (and we were on the back street) was just fields. Now it's more houses. And back there is where I remember seeing them. Now we have hawks (coming after our chickens) and snakes (coming after our chicks) and many animals that we choose to have. Did have deer on our street one day run across the road in front of our car!Korihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08433449817995150210noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6246655362094514107.post-26556723597798451632011-06-20T20:05:13.075-05:002011-06-20T20:05:13.075-05:00Aren't they the neatest! When we lived in Kentucky there was one that would dart through our yard every month or so.

Your new neighborhood is beautiful!Ginahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13501568512285575166noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6246655362094514107.post-53467131085437677362011-06-20T14:05:52.207-05:002011-06-20T14:05:52.207-05:00Wow! Now that is some neat wildlife. We have been ...Wow! Now that is some neat wildlife. We have been told by our neighbors that we will have wildlife in our backyard at some point too, but it is most likely to be of the reptile variety (the kind that doesn't have legs and goes sssssss!). I am not looking forward to that! We did have a rather large hawk swoop down and land in our yard over the weekend, maybe he will keep the snakes away. Just a couple of miles from us is an aquarium and the road that leads up to it has a Fox Crossing sign. I have never seen any foxes crossing there, but there must be some. I bet that you will get to see all sorts of neat wildlife in and around your town now that you live in Colorado. That should be fun.Mindy S.https://www.blogger.com/profile/08042321699421422424noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6246655362094514107.post-1167117082694514332011-06-20T09:25:47.628-05:002011-06-20T09:25:47.628-05:00I think foxes are beautiful!
I guess they're ...I think foxes are beautiful!

I guess they're territorial because there is one that I see when I'm on the trail close to my house, there's another that I see close to my kids' school, and still another that I see almost every time I take one of my daughter's friends home.

I never cease to be fascinated by them!

BTW, GREAT photos!mer@lifeat7000feethttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07169865790593225070noreply@blogger.com
