what can you buy for 52 cents?

a skirt to wear to last Saturday's shower!

now I realize that the price tag says ninety-seven cents but guess what . . .

did you know that Old Navy puts their clearance items on 50% off from time to time?

I got this skirt a couple of months ago and thought come spring and 8 months of pregnancy under my belt I'd be more than thrilled to put on something new, brightly colored, stretchy and comfy!

I was right.

Besides for 52 cents can one possibly go wrong?

I think not.

Gotten any good bargains lately?

What are you excited about wearing this spring?

Have a wonderful Wednesday!

Kelly

p.s. you guys really are the best commenters in the world I think. I love getting and reading your comments and sharing life together whether I know you in real life or not. Thank you!

  1. OK, you have to go to the Wisteria website and sign up for the emails. You will get one about every other day. But there are two semi-annual warehouse sales that you absolutely cannot miss. Sign up for the catalog too so you can make a wish list for when you go to the Luna Road warehouse. Love you blog by the way.

  2. Two best bargains. I got one in 1976 and one in 1979. They each ended up costing quite a bit of money, but they were both bargains because they have given me immeasurable amounts of joy.

  3. I got a 21 quart pressure canner at a garage sale this weekend for $75. Not a STEAL by any stretch of the imagination but they are hard to come by (in Sitka) 2nd hand and this pressure canner is being sold new at True Value for $138. I'm glad to have it so that I don't have to keep borrowing! And I'm in luck! The UAF Extenstion Agent is in town this weekend to test canner pressure guages for FREE so I can see if mine if in good shape or if I need to replace it. If I need to replace BOTH the pressure gauge AND the rubber seal, I will most likely resell it and keep waiting. (pressure gauge is $21 at True Value) I'll keep you posted!
