One of the best things my best friend told me is not glamorous, but very practical...keep the peri bottle from the hospital. It's great for rinsing baby hair.
Also, take advice when people give it to you, but remember to stick with your gut. You're the parents, after all!
Oh the advice :)... enjoy the middle of the night feedings, even when you are exhausted. They don't last that long and it is such a special for you the both of you!
