Our zoo has a new baby giraffe!
Isn't he the cutest?
God makes really, really neat things.
We got to see him last Saturday on a little family trip to the zoo.

Yes! We have a zoo in Sitka!!!
It has 5 bears housed in a holding tank from the former pulp mill that closed down a couple decades ago.
haha! Thanks for "visiting" our zoo with us ... ahem... looking down into the holding tank at the zoo from our perch on Blue Lake Road! Oh, and thanks for pointing out the 20+ bald eagles that were surrounding the bears as well!
