leaving for Alaska

It seems the best way to go through airport security with a baby is to wear them. Hands free and they're secure. It worked wonderfully and he slept the best on the plane when he was snuggled up like this.

It was funny though. Before take-off the flight attendant came over to us and said that the baby would have to be out of the "contraption" before take-off. The choice of word made us laugh.

We were blessed with a sweet grandmother for a seatmate. She was great to out little guy.

What are your best tips for flying with kids?

I wish we had had that "contraption" when you and your brother were little.
