Have you ever sung the Messiah?
I first performed it with my high school choir in 9th grade.
There is something really cool about singing such a majestic piece with a large group of people.
I would like to go to a Messiah sing-a-long sometime.
What is your favorite part of the Messiah?

I went to a Messiah sing-along at my International Church in Manila. We didn't do the whole thing, but they did have music we could follow along and had brought in professionals to do several of the solos. Really - how can you beat standing for the Hallelujah Chorus!! My favorite part, though, is knowing I am singing God's words.

When I went to summer school at Harding, we had chapel in the small Heritage auditorium. One day we had a singing request day and someone in the audience requested the Hallelujah Chorus. I think they did it as a joke, but Uncle Bud was leading the singing and he had us all move into sections of the auditorium with our parts. I remember it was beautiful!!!
