to not want to choose a paint color because of it's name?

It just sends 80s shivers up and down my spine.
So, not telling you which is which, do you think I should use the top color (two stripes) or the bottom color (two stripes) to stripe the wall in my family room?
(I realize the lighting's not the greatest.)

Personally, from the picture, I like the top two stripes. The bottom stripes look a little peachy for my taste.

Top color. The bottom color looks like it has a lot of pink in it.
On my computer the bottom color comes across with more yellows and the top color comes across with a kind of green tinge. But I am sure that in your room in your light they probably come across totally different. I personally like the bottom color, but it also depends on what other colors you want to use in your room. Our walls are a medium shade of brown and I really like having darker walls. I know that paint color is probably the hardest for me to decide. When we built this house, I wanted the exact color we had in our house in AR, but when we put it on the wall here, with different light, suddenly I didn't like the color at all. So I had to start hunting for a different color that looked like the old color in the new light. :-) I can't wait to see what you decide and the final room.
Well, if it is the wall color, I vote the bottom, but if it is the stripe color, I vote top. Ditto on the lighting, it is a little more difficult to tell. Can't wait to see the finished product.
Now this sounds crazy, go look at my post for my living room walls. Same color, just on in flat and one in a satin finish. Very subtle touch. So you can always pick your favorite of the two and try that treatment.
