cake server

Thank you for ALL of your comments!  They really made my week!  I really appreciate hearing from so many of you and from those of you who I didn't know read, welcome!  And if you're just wandering over here and haven't commented yet, we could still make it to 50!  Feel free.  Leave a comment.  :)

Thanks to those of you who are praying.  All is well in my world.  I'm not stressed, just happy and so excited that I'm the bride!  Wow!  God is good.

I wanted to show you this cake server that we will be using at the wedding.  Adrian knew I wanted to have an antique cake server engraved with our monogram to use and then keep as a momento and I hadn't been able to find one.  So . . . he got on ebay and scouted out this beauty that matches our antique silver pattern!  I am so excited about using this at the wedding and eating cake too!

My antique cake server looks a lot like it! My grandma found it somewhere for me and I think it is perfect. The big bow looks os pretty around it. I might have to give htat a try.

Your cake server is beautiful! I adore antique silver pieces! And, yes, this will become a cherished wedding day keepsake {be sure to designate someone to be in charge of its safe-keeping after you cut the cake so that it does not get mixed in with the caterer's items}.

On another note, I was thinking of you this morning. Now that it's October I can't help but think that the wedding must be quickly approaching! These golden, mild days are perfect for a wedding. Whenever it may be, I want you to know how very happy I am for you. I hope that it is a joyously, rapturous day full of happiness and delight. May God bless you and Adrian very richly.

When you are married and honeymooned I do hope that you'll share photos, it's been fun to view the planning over the past months.

We did something similar. I'd inherited some beautiful sterling, so my parents bought us the cake server as a shower gift. We used it at our wedding, and now it's so special to me!
