One of the recent activities of my classroom:
I saw three ships come sailing in
On Christmas Day, on Christmas Day;
I saw three ships come sailing in
On Christmas Day in the morning.
And all the bells on earth shall ring,
On Christmas Day, on Christmas Day;
And all the bells on earth shall ring,
On Christmas Day in the morning.
And all the Angels in Heaven shall sing,
On Christmas Day, on Christmas Day;
And all the Angels in Heaven shall sing,
On Christmas Day in the morning.
And all the souls on earth shall sing,
On Christmas Day, on Christmas Day;
And all the souls on earth shall sing,
On Christmas Day in the morning.
Then let us all rejoice again,
On Christmas Day, on Christmas Day;
Then let us all rejoice again,
On Christmas Day in the morning.
I have really liked this carol and it's happy tune since we sang it in our high school choir.
Rejoice today! Rejoice! We have a Savior who came to this earth for us!
What is your favorite carol?

HI Kelly! I am so glad I found you! I didn't know that you blog! I clicked on "Miss G" from a comment on Tiffany's blog and came to your page only the first picture was of "A" and your mom so I thought it was hers! Then I figured it out. Pregnant brain is a little slower than non pregnant brain! Anyway, I'm so glad to find you and will come again! And can I say that as always you are the hostess with mostess! How cute is your apartment and how wonderful to have tea for mom! LOVE IT!
I have long loved "Joy to the World" - also for it's message,upbeat tune and rhythm and for the simple, yet beautiful harmony.
Sarah, thanks so much for being the first to chime in on your favorite carol! Kelly
For an old-fashioned carol, I think it would either be "O Holy Night" or "What Child is This?" but I think my favorite of all is a "new" carol by Chris Rice called "Welcome to Our World."
Mom, I wonder if I got my love of those two older carols from you? And, "Welcome to Our World" is so wonderful! I think I'll find it in my itunes and listen to it right now! Kelly
