This one's for all of you local bloggers. We're in the process of choosing a photographer for our wedding. Have any suggestions? We like someone creative . . . with a photojournalistic style . . . within our budget(!) . . . a huge plus is for us to be able to own all the digital negatives AND we prefer someone who we will really WANT to be around all day long on our wedding day and not someone we'd be annoyed by. So, what do you think? Thanks! Kelly

i don't know where you live, but i totally recommend kelly moore clark with kelly moore photography. www.kellymoorephotography.com
her prices recently went up, but she does have a package where you own the digital negatives from your bridal, engagement, and wedding. and you receive a collection of images. and she's super nice and fun to work with! we're flying her out to SC for our wedding.
about your question about the miniature pies-- the restaurant does not normally make the smaller pies, but they are doing it for the wedding. i think it's $5 per miniature pie. totally worth it!
Hey Kel -
We used D'Ann Wright. I really felt comfortable around her and she is very easy to work with and open to creative ideas.

I don't know where you live, but I hope you find someone great! Good Luck!
We used someone very afordable, who gave us all our negatives, and even put the best photos in an album for us. I don't think you'd mind being around her all day since she is your borther's wife! I'm just not sure how much bribbing it would take to get her to do it!
Kelly, I am not sure he does weddings, but Matt Nicolosi is amazing! www.mattnicolosi.com. I met him officially a couple of weeks ago at a workshop in Round Rock. Check out his blog!
Kelly! I don't have any photographer advice, just congratulations! I've thought of you and wondered where you ended up. So good to see you so happy! Danna (Stokes)
Hey! I think it was through Sandi, maybe. Or Allisa. Who knows. I was catching up on all my blog reading and thought your blog title sounded pretty. I had no idea that I would find you here! God loves surprising us like that. :-)
CONGRATULATIONS!!!! oh my goodness I am just catchin up on blogs!! SO happy for you!!! Here's my 2cents...Fred Egan fredegan.com He's amazing!!! Rachel Wilks is great, she did the Kerleys wedding. And my photographer was Mike Ernhardt. He was REALLY laid back and I loved my photos. photosbymichael.com. Also Mallory Kreiger is great too. EXCITING!!!!
I am a secret stalker of this woman's website. I LOVE IT!!!! I'm going to assume she will be out of your price range (since she is ours) and she lives here in Houston (which is strike two) but at the very least you may enjoy looking at her webpage. Love you!
