just for my mama

who's been missing me doing any new blog posts, here's
a belated one about our spring break shopping adventure.

We went to Ross and found a bunch of stuff to try on and in the absence of a dressing room attendant or a sign telling us how many items, we wheeled in our cart. :)

We were already feeling giggly and then I reach in my purse for something and my hand comes in contact with these funny disguise glasses that just happened to be in my purse (yeah, and I don't even have kids.)

So my mom gamely put them on for a photo and then we took these:

We like being together, can you tell?

When we came out of the dressing room the attendant or "dressing room police" was there and she was *not* pleased that we had wheeled in our entire cart. She gave us a stern look and we tried to smile politely and scoot on out of the way. :)

Sidenote, that black and white dress with the big red and orange poppies was my Easter dress this year and I'm wearing it to a wedding this weekend! Ready to get my dancing shoes on!
So two random questions for this post:

What do you enjoy doing with your mom?

Do you enjoy dancing at weddings?

Have a great weekend!

School is almost over and hopefully posting from me will pick up!

Five more days but who's counting???

Such a sweet post! You have the cutest Mom!!

I know you're shocked, but my favorite things to do with my mom are cook, eat, play games, and scrapbook.

You forgot to tell everyone that we got in trouble with the dressing room police. What fun it is to be with you. It seems like we always spend lots of time laughing.

Definitely shopping and doing crafty projects around the house.

I LOVE dancing at weddings, unfortunetly Jason DOES NOT! He will humor me on occasion and give in :).

I have been having a hard time getting posts up too. I just did one last night. I guess this is just a really busy time of year.

Kelly,

Thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving a comment! Nice to meet you!

So, far I've dismantled the chandelier. The crystals are gathered together for use in future projects. I've planned a metal flower project for the remaining metal pieces. I need to pick out some paint but I haven't been inspired as far as the colors yet.

I just love your blog! Thanks so much for linking with me for your most recent post by the way! I am honored that I in some part sparked an idea!

My favorite thing to do with my Mom was Christmas. We loved to buy two of any decoration, keep one send the other. We also had a really fun tradition of fun and trick cakes for our birthdays. For her 40th I actually lit 40 candles. In retaliation, for my birthday she made me an absolutely beautiful cake, decorated so wonderfully. When I cut it, I hit metal. Yep, she iced the pans. I laughed so hard!

For the other question. I no longer dance. Not since I met my hubby. He doesn't dance so by default neither do I. *sigh*. If he was a dancer, I totally would! I guess you could say I do, I like to do the silly group dances. Does that count?
