seven minute post

First of all, don't forget about the WATER!!

Second, this photo is from the baby shower that our church threw for us on Sunday.  AMAZING!!!

Third, I am hungry but I don't know what to eat.

Fourth, I am finding it hard to work on the nursery somewhat because my biggest block of uninterrupted time is afternoon nap for David but her room is right next to his and I generally try not to go upstairs at all during his naps because I don't like to do anything to risk them being shorter than they would be both for his sake and mine.  Mine is a boy who needs his sleep to function most cheerfully.

Fifth,  here's a fun new game.  Either/Or . . .

Do you think I should

a) clean the inside of my microwave before the baby comes

b) finish the reorganization of the kitchen cabinets that I started?

Just wondering.

Sixth, we did a refresher childbirth class last night.  It was good.
I learned a few new things and feel calmer approaching this birth.
I am getting so excited to meet her!

Seventh,  God is so good!  I have had three nights in a row where I haven't woken up and laid in bed awake for a long period or ended up getting up in the middle of the night.  This is virtually UNHEARD of this pregnancy.  I've still briefly woken up but gone right back to sleep.  It's wonderful.

Okay, seven minutes are up.

Hope you're having a good one.  Don't forget to chime in on #5.  :)

Definitely reorganize the cabinets. Do you need help?

Definitely reorganize the cabinets. Because that probably won't get done at all after the baby comes. BUT, very easy way to clean the microwave--put a glass of water into the microwave and bring it to a boil. The steam from the water will loosen any gunk inside the microwave. Wipe immediately with a wet cloth. Most of the gross stuff will come out and it only takes a minute or two longer than however long it takes to boil the water. (Just be careful when you remove the hot glass.)

I doubt sister will be using the microwave for a while :)and give her a several months and SHE will be reorganizing the cabinets for you! My more serious vote...go for the microwave because that bowl of water thing really works! Oh great, thanks for reminding me I need to clean my microwave.

Beautiful Mama! And congratulations on the sleep. That is super important. As for nap time - we highly recommend box fans. The old fashioned noisy kind. They go in each bedroom and everyone sleeps with them. Drowns out people talking during nap, mom watching a movie after kids are in bed, someone going potty during the night - and even roosters and turkeys at our house. They make sleep awesome. :-)
Cabinets would take longer so I would say that one now. But if my microwave gets cleaned it is only with the water method so it really is fast and easy. But I do agree - Adrian and your mom could do those jobs if you let someone else organize for you (I can't!). :-)

I say both! And, I like the idea that someone else can do it and you rest. I'd love to organize your cabinets and clean your microwave! It was great to see you and sing with you today!

I vote for the kitchen cabinets, that will make you feel better for longer, and is likely to last longer than the microwave.

I was curious if you ever thought of changing the page layout of
your blog? Its very well written; I love what youve
got to say. But maybe you could a little more in the way of content so people could connect
with it better. Youve got an awful lot of text for only having one or 2 images.
Maybe you could space it out better?
