declutter {nine}

So, I obviously got off the decluttering bandwagon back there around the 9th of January.  This is not nine items but you've got to jump back in somewhere, right?

I'm cleaning out the nursery closet (formerly the guest room closet) and trying to decide whether to get rid of my letter jacket.

Did you have one in high school?

Do you still have yours?

What would you do?

Thanks!

Kelly

I had one and right now I'm not sure if I've gotten rid of it or its in a spare closet at my parents house. No one would wear it now since it has my name embroidered on it and the only thing it would be good for would be a laugh down the road. I say keep it if you have the space, chuck it (or salvage the important parts) if you don't.

I'd say keep it.....as a kid I always wanted to wear my parents' jackets long before I had one of my own....

I would keep it. It is big and bulky but one day your kids will get a kick out of it. And quite honestly it is making me nostalgic right now. I never had one, but I do remember yours. :-)

I have mine (and mine is older than yours) -- keep it...good for Halloween party sometime and other special events. It is fun when friends' kids are ordering theirs to look at mine.

Had to laugh at all the comments after our conversation yesterday. Dodd you cave?

I know my comment is late and it sounds like you made your decision, but mine is still in our hall closet. I remember wearing my dad's growing up and he still has his. Honestly I wish I had gotten a really nice leather jacket instead, because I would actually still wear that. Oh well, I can't bring myself to get rid of mine.
